Woodworking Plane Base + Wood Tote & Knob, Unbranded USA, 9" Smooth Sole, VG

Description

Metal base with wood tote and knob for an unbranded woodworking plane, in very good condition.  Smooth sole, 9" long by 2 1/8" wide by 4 1/2" tall; Weighs about 1 lb. 9 oz.  Has a stand and bar for installing frog and blade; looks like the frog/blade clips in place under the bar and against the stand).  Has a raised "Made in USA" in front of the tote.  Painted black inside and along the sides.
Base has wear in the paint; sole is straight and smooth with no gouges or nicks.  Tote and knob have no cracks or chips, and are secure on the base; they do have minor nicks and scratches.  We've been unable to locate a brand in our research.
