    Description

    This is a very fine  wood moulding tongue plane that is marked J Kellogg Amherst on the toe and Model No 8 and also 5/8 designating width of cut  This plane was made by J Kellogg Amherst Massachusetts  between 1835 - 1867.The cutter is still sharp and has lots of life left and is 5/8 inch wide cut. Tongue width is 1/4 inch wide. . The wedge is stout and in great condition. The slides on this one are in excellent condition and cutter is very sharp. Over all condition here is excellent . Fine example No damage. Buyer pays .95 S&H in USA.
