Vtg. Stanley "Bailey" No. 4 SMOOTH PLANE - Smooth Sole - USA Made - Type 17?

Description

Up for bids is a vintage Stanley Bailey no. 4 smooth plane that is in nice condition. The plane has a total length of 9 1/2 inches including the tote (handle) nub and a width of 2 1/2 inches. The Stanley cutting iron measures 2 inches wide. The plane is marked with "No. 4" in front of the knob and "Bailey" just behind the front knob. It is marked "Made In USA" under the hard rubber adjustment knob. There is green paint on both the tote and knob. The plane weighs approximately 3 pounds 8 ounces without packaging. I "believe" that this is a type 17 plane (1942-1945). Please see the photographs to determine exactly what you will receive. I have given four shipping options. Payment
Payment is very much appreciated within 3 days of the auctions close.    If you need more time to make your payment for your item just let me know.
Shipping
I always try to ship within 1 business day of receiving your payment and often ship on the same day the payment is received if possible. I also will combine on shipping whenever possible but please wait on paying for an item until I have had a chance to produce a combined shipping invoice.   Local pickup is available upon request and there is no shipping fee if local pickup is requested.
