Vintage Winchester No. 3010 Jack Plane No. 5 Size

This listing is for a vintage Winchester No. 3010 jack plane.  This plane was made by Sargent for Winchester and is similar in size to a Stanley No. 5. at approximately 14" long with a 2" wide cutting iron.  The plane was disassembled, given a light cleaning to check condition then reassembled.  The casting is in very good condition with no cracks or damage and only showing normal signs of use.  The japanning is mostly intact but there are sections missing and some areas of patina.  The tote and knob are in good condition, but the knob does show a couple of hairline cracks.  Both tote and knob tighten securely.  Overall this is a beautiful example of a desirable plane in one of the most useful sizes.  It would make a great addition to any collection!
