Vintage Stanley Bailey No.3 Corrugated Bottom Plane,With Issues,L@@K & READ!!

Description

For sale is this vintage Stanley corrugated bottom plane, measuring 2-3/16" wide and 9-1/4" long, with its tote extension. Signed "Bailey", No.3" and "Made In U.S.A." on the body dirty, with some rust, and much of it original Japanning missing.
The bigger problems:
>>There is a large chip out of the knob handle base, and a very slight but stable hairline crack at the top of the tote handle, as shown in the last picture
>>Signed "Stanley Made In U.S.A.", the 1-11/16" X 6-3/16" blade iron is cracked, and with a brazed repair from a previous owner, as shown in the 7th, 8th, and 9th pictures
>>There is a 1/8" diameter hole drilled through the sole, as shown in the 7th picture
>>A previous owner has tapped out the frog and blade cap holes to a larger diameter, necessitating larger diameter screws and washers, as pictured
Despite its issues, it will make a serviceable user plane, with any cleaning, oiling, and detailing is left up to you. Please view all of the pictures to determine condition for yourself.
