Vintage Siegley jointer plane 12 pat Dec 5 1893 user tool to restore

for auction is a vintage Number 12 Siegley jointer plane. It is from a collectors estate. It is a bit dirty and dusty and will need some cleaning. The plane is corrugated on the bottom and smooth on the top.  there is no cracks or breaks or repairs  to the body.  The left side of the plane has  The letters R V punch stamped in the metal. ( see picture 3 and enlarge the picture)  The blade is marked Siegley   Dec 5 1893, but it is barely legible  The handle and knob are good solid condition and original. The toe screw on the handle is a poor replacement.    The plane measures 23 1/2'' long.  The plane is as found  and will need a good cleaning. There is some pitting present but none too serious.  Please see pictures for condition, Ask questions before you bid. The last one of these I had, had a hang hole in the toe, this one does not.
