    Description

    Vintage Sargent No. 5206-E4 All steel Low Angle Block Plane. This item is being sold as found, New OLD stock in original box with packaging. This plane still has the cosmoline type rust preventative on it from the factory. This plane is about 6" long, 1-3/4" wide with a 1-5/8" blade. Information from an original catalog listing states that the 5206 model was Nickel plated and was light, unbr
    eakable and indestructible. Their shape and size was
    designed to be readily carried in the apron pocket of the carpenter. This plane was patented (1,164,232) for the Sargent Co. by William Sparks December 14, 1915. It was produced from that time until 1941. This plane is in new, unused, preowned condition with original packaging . See pictures for more details.
