    Description

    Vintage Sargent No. 507 Rabbet Block Plane.  This is from my father-in-laws tools which have been sitting in the garage in San Diego for that past 40 years.  I gave it a light cleaning and got most of the dust off and I sharpened the blade.  The blade have a 3- degree bevel and is sharp.  I made a few test shavings on some pine and it worked fine.  As I have the Lie Nielsen rabbet plane I don't need this one.  Let me know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
