Vintage Lakeside (Montgomery Ward) No. 5 Jack Plane Stanley Victory Logo Iron

This listing is for a vintage Lakeside No. 5 plane that was sold by Montgomery Ward and made by Stanley.  It has a Stanley V or Victory logo cutting iron (1912 - 1918).  The receiver frog on this example appears to match that of an early Type 10 Stanley just before they added the frog adjustment screw.  Most of the japanning finish is missing, but the casting is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  The tote has been repaired and has a section missing near the top, but it still tightens securely.  The knob has two hairline cracks that I wasn't able to get a clear picture of, but it still tightens securely.
