    Description

    This is a vintage small Stanley iron bull nose rabbet plane that is probably a model 75, circa 1879 to around the 1940s, or so.. Plane has a 4" long bed with a 1" wide cutting blade, and it looks to be complete and in good working condition. It has an owner's initials stamped into each side of the bed. The screw that holds the bed to the body looks like it has never been touched, and the set screw to hold the blade in place looks like it has been used just a bit with very light burring at the slot, as pictured. The top of the blade is stamped with the maker's mark, and some of it is very weak and hard to read, but it certainly looks like "Stanley Rule & Level Co." This was just found in New England.
