Stanley No. 3 Smooth plane

Offered is a No. 3 Stanley Smooth  plane with smooth bottom. Has features of a Type 12,1918-1924, high front knob, large  adj. nut, SW logo on cutter & 3 patd dates behind frog   The tote may have a tight glue repair.  Top of cutter has rust pitting.  Both handle are of the exotic wood type.  Sides are clean the sole has some scratches.  One of the frog screw slots is a little messed up but works ok.    I would give this a tool condition rating of G+.
