Description

This is a fine Stanley  Bailey No 3 Smooth bottom wood plane all original and no damage of any kind. This one features the 3 patent dates behind the frog of March 25 , '02 , August 19 , '02 and April 19 , '10. The knob and tote are in excellent condition. The toe is marked No 3 in front of the knob and Bailey behind the knob and the lever cap is embossed with the Stanley name. The cutter is 1 3/4 inches wide cut  and has the Stanley logo with the SW below the name and Made in USA at the top. Frog assembly in great condition and proper. Lateral adjuster is marked Stanley and brass adjuster knob in excellent condition, The bottom is smooth and straight and the throat is in excellent shape as well.
