    Description

    Stanley Bailey No 23 wood bottom transitional plane, pre-lateral type 6. Manufactured around 1880. Eagle trademark and number 23 stamped on toe of plane along with a makers mark "MCB". Small crack on heel, see picture. Brass adjustment wheel with "Bailey's Patent" stamped inside polished up nicely. Frame and lever cap are nicely burnished but all the paint is gone. Stanley "sweethart" cutter has nice length. A very nice plane, thanks for looking. Will ship UPS ground.
