Description

Offered is a Stanley #7 jointer plane with a smooth sole. It measures 22" long, 3" wide and has a 2 7/8" cutter. It has a rosewood tote and knob, a Stanley lever cap, but the cutter is a Sergent. It has a patent date of 1902. The plane is in very good condition--there is no rust or pitting, the japanning is 75% intact and it is clean. It was stored in a basement, so it had some surface rust which I have removed. It has two small holes in the sole for hanging and the knob has some wear or missing wood on one side--no cracks or breaks, though. Please view all photos to judge for yourself what you will receive. The plane weighs 7 1/2 pounds before packaging.
