  • Condition: 3 patent dates on the sole. Un restored original "as found" condition. Has age darkening and slight pitting. Has radial crack to rear wooden tote and a piece missing of the top- see photo #8, but not loose at all. Small nibble to the end of the sole see photo #7 Has the name of the previous owner scratched in the side of the plane - see photo #1. Please see all photos.

    Description

    Great older Stanley / Bailey 5 1/2 C corrugated sole plane. 3 patent dates on the sole. Un restored original "as found" condition, just has age darkening and slight pitting. Has radial crack to rear wooden tote and a piece missing of the top- see photo #8, but not loose at all. Small nibble to the end of the sole see photo #7, has previous owners name "Brown" scratched in the side of the plane, see photo #1. Of course please see all photos., April  19th 1892 patent steel. Japaning is in good shape- Solid old tool
    -This will come via FedEx as I can use a larger box to pack it safely and they are the most reasonable with larger packages.
