    Description

    Stanley 5C Jack plane. I believe it is of recent manufacture. It has the corrugated bottom that has some light scratches from use. The plane body is excellant with no chips or cracks and with nice paint remaining on the interior surfaces. The front knob is good with some dings and nicks and some loss of finish. The tote or handle had a clean break when I got the plane. I gorrila epoxied it and it looks like a sound repair to me. With hard use it could possibly fail so if you are hard on your planes you may need a new tote. The blade has good length and needs some fine tuning and sharpening.
