Stanley #2 Plane Sweetheart ca. 1925 Partial Decal Free US Shipping

Description

This plane was manufactured around 1925 based upon the 1923 and later trademark on the blade and the Stanley lever cap.  The blade is near full length and bears the last Sweetheart trademark (1923-35).  The tote is in nice shape and still retains part of the decal.  There are no chips cracks or repairs in the body or frog castings.  The Stanley lever cap has a very tiny chip that I can't be seen until it is disassembled, see picture #11.  There is very little japan left on the body and there is light rust pitting mostly on the sole.  A prior owner spilled some green paint (rather than the usual white) on it.  The early style, flat base tall knob has broken at the base as they often do and will need to be replaced.  I will ship this free to US addresses via priority mail
