VG  Stanley # 10 1/4 Cabinet Maker's Rabbet Plane
This is an excellent Stanley # 10 1/4 plane. The metal is not cracked, chipped, broken or repaired and looks to retain most of the Japanning. There is a place on the inside of the right shoulder at the top where it appears the Japanning was ground off. There is a slight dent on the left side right by the knob which is really hard to see, but it is there. The wood is just what you expect from Stanley, fine Brazilian hardwood. Both the tote and knob look very good with only the smallest of the usual "tool box dings". They may have been refinished they look so good. The cutter has the notched logo with the patent info on it. The lever cap has what is left of the red background on the Stanley name and is not damaged. There are some very small pits that look to be casting flaws. One is on the bottom on the toe and two small ones on the left front. There is some very, very fine pitting on the body which maybe could be polished out.
The plane is in very good condition and looks to have been well taken care of. The pictures tell the story and I can provide more if needed.

I have shipped to New Zealand before and will certainly be able to do that again. I just can't include that in the shipping options. Shipping outside the USA will be more and depend on destination and weight. PLEASE READ THE SHIPPING INFO FOR PAYMENT AND SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE USA AND WAIT FOR MY INVOICE. I charge $ 5.00 handling and packing for shipments outside the USA. There is extra paperwork, an additional 10 miles of driving and a wait in line of up to 45 minutes at the Post Office.
