    Solid Boxwood Plow Plane in Very Good Condition, Casey and Co. Auburn NY
    Casey and Company, Auburn, NY, a solid Boxwood, steel, and brass, screw arm handled plow plane in very good condition. Boxwood body is 11" long, fence is 12” long. Both body and fence have normal age nicks and scratches. The fence has age checks on the top surface. Someone tried to do a screw repair, and ended up twisting off the screw head. Luckily, it’s hidden when the plane is assembled. Boxwood arms are 11" long, with threads in great condition; only a few minor chips. I would say the threads are 98% intact. Outer nuts are solid with some age checks. The iron is original to the plane because it has the original owners name steel stamped on it. His name has been overstamped on the front toe under the Casey name. The brass thumbscrew depth stop moves freely and properly. Please see pictures for specific condition details.
