    Description

    Neat set of 8 wooden tongue and groove planes from 1 owner's collection.
    All of these planes were last owned by an Australian named TK Boyle.  Mr.Boyle only bought and used the best.
    These planes are a little unusual because of the size of Tongue & Grooves they cut.  The smallest is only 3/32" wide, 1/8" and two sets that cut 3/16" T&Gs.
    Most have multiple owners marks with the last being TK BOYLE.
    3/32"  Tongue and Groove marked A.MATHIESON & SON GLASGOW. Both planes have 1/4 and the number 1 stamped on the heel.
    1/8"    Groove plane marked GLEAVE OLDHAM ST MANCHESTER.  3/8 and the number 3 stamped on the heel/
    1/8"    Tongue plane marked D.MALLOGH PERTH(possibly a previous owner) also McPHERSON BROS. 134 TRONGATE GLASGOW. 3/8 and 1/2 and the number 3 on heel.
    3/16"  Tongue plane marked ALEX MATHIESON & SON GLASGOW.  5/8 on heel and 16 on the toe.
    3/16"  Groove plane missing mark on toe but most likely a MATHIESON.  5/8 and number 3 on heel.
    3/16"  Tongue plane MOSELEY & SON GLASGOW. 3/4 and number 2 on heel along with a very small 5/8.
    3/16"  Groove plane VARVILL & SON  YORK.   3/4 on heel.
    All of these planes were probably made before 1850.  All are in excellent condition.  Blades should require little more than honing or light sharpening.
    Note: The steel plane visible in several of the pictures is not included.  It was used to support the stack for filming.
