    Sargent VDM No8 plane. 9 x 2-1/8, possible type 4. Patent date 7-3-06 behind frog. Iron is 1-3/4" marked Sargent VDM. Lever cap marked Sargent VDM, 8 on the backside. Tote and knob no cracks. Lots of original finish on bed.
