Sargent 714 Autoset hand plane Antique Unrestored all original condition 1915

Description

This Sargent 714 Autoset hand 14" plane will make a great addition to someone’s collection.
It shows it’s age with the typical wear and tear of a hand plane that was used for 100+ years.
This will be a great plane as a display or to refurbish for a daily user.
It seems it’s all in original condition. The iron has no cracks or chips only mild surface rust.
Condition may be used be it is sure not is abused. Wood handle is cracked
Markings on iron read ...SARGENT 714......PAT JAN  12 15.....So this plane could be over one-hundred years old
I found  markings on blade  "CAGE SELF ADJUSTING PLANE" and the letter H also
