    Description

    Richards & Conover No 8 Size Jointer Plane. Smooth sole. This was a user of mine for a time, and I've not seen a Rich-Con model larger than a #7 before. It's clean and the blade is sharp, but no excessive restoration has been done. The tip of the tote was broken off when I got it, but I repaired it with a walnut tip and finished both the wood with linseed oil to blend with the original wood, which I think is mahogany. Have not touched the japanning and it's in very good shape for the age. Lots of blade length left. Prior owner initials on the right cheek as shown in pictures. A great plane with a lot of history and a lot of life left.  Any questions, please ask.
    I will disassemble the plane for shipping and wrap each part individually to protect it.  Shipping by priority mail and the actual expense to be paid by the buyer.
