    An ORIGINAL PLANE BODY for a Stanley No. 3 plane, Type 10, by STANLEY. The Type 10 planes were equipped with the frog adjustment mechanism patented in 1910, but were produced before the casting in the bed was changed to include the 1910 patent date. Fully 95% of the original black japan finish remains on this extra clean and essentially unused Instant Upgrade item.
