    Description

    An ORIGINAL FROG MECHANISM for a Record No. T5 "Technical Jack" plane by the Record Tool Works, Sheffield, England in excellent condition. Approximately 95% of the original japan finish remains on this well preserved frog, which is designed for use with a cutting iron measuring two inches in width. The original fixing screws and washers to secure the frog to the plane body are included as well. The Technical Jack Plane is distinguished by the auxiliary side handle that can be mounted on either side of the plane to facilitate the use of the plane as a "shooting board" plane.
