    Description

    Low Angle Stanley 62 Sole/Body Hand Plane.
    This No. 62 sole is in useable shape but it does have a few issues to be aware of. There is a crack on the left cheek, see photos. Applying some stress does not open this crack and it is good the crack is not connected to the throat of the plane. The tote and screw are not original- it appears the original threads were drilled through and a larger diameter threading was added. The tote does hold well, it appears the new threads were made well. There are also chips at the mouth of the plane which is typical for this low angle model
