    Description

    For sale is this later model Stanley smooth bottom plane, with a burgundy body, measuring 2-1/2" wide and 9-3/4" long, with tote extension. Signed "C5578"" on the body, it has beautiful sound and solid knob and tote handles with much of its original burgundy Japanning intact. Signed "Stanley No. 4{12-004E} Made In U.S.A." on the 2" X 6-1/16" blade iron, it is in very good condition, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand.
