    Description

    Japanese Plane for Sole Conditioning / Scraper.This plane was purchased from Japan Woodworker in about 1998. It's used, but still in very good condition, and with years and years of useful life remaining.
    Dai size is 160mm x 56mm x 33.5mm, and the blade width is 42mm. The cutting width of the blade is 37.5mm. The blade is sharpened, and there is still very much useful length remaining on the blade, and there's no rust. Dai shows marks from the hammer behind the blade, but no splitting or crushing. There are no apparent cracks in the dai.
