Originally folded in half as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 21 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first release of the George Pal production of the cinematic biography of the legendary escape artist Harry Houdini.
    Houdini
    starred real life husband and wife actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh in a fiction account of the magician's short and tragic life. This poster is from the first release of the movie in Belgium in 1953. Despite the condition issue where there appears to have been red paint splattered onto portions of the poster, it displays very well.
    I'm sure some minor restoration can rid the poster of these marks. The striking artwork by Wik is unique to this Belgian release poster which seldom comes up for sale or auction.
