FINE Condition!  Type 11 (1910-1918) with Stanley "V" trade-marked iron.  97% japanning.
Nice even, dark patina on the exposed metal parts and wood.  The original finish continues to provide near full coverage on the beautiful Rosewood handle and knob.  There is no damage of any sort, including rusting, pitting or significant chipping or dinging anywhere in the metal or wood.  The well marked iron (photo 7) is near full.  The plane has been lightly cleaned to high collector standards.  The brass has NOT been polished.  A collectors dream.  An EARLY Stanley Number Two in FINE CONDITION!  Buy It NOW!!
