100% complete, down to the last screw!  Japanning 98% intact.  There is no rusting, pitting, chipping, dinging nor damage of any other sort.  This plane has seen only very light use and has been well maintained.  There is plenty of usable steel remaining on the cutter.  Both slitters are in place along with ALL of their proper screws!  It is a Type 5 (1936-1950).
The 3/8" No. 39 is one of the harder to find sizes.  It was discontinued in 1950 and there aren't many of them out there anymore.  And when you do find one, it is almost always missing several impossible (or very expensive) to replace parts. This one is
