    FINE STANLEY  No.4-1/2 SMOOTH BOTTOM PLANE  TYPE 19 1948-1961
    TUNED
    The cleaned and waxed the japanning on the body and frog.
    All the Hardware was cleaned and oiled. all thread holes cleaned and
    oiled.
    The rosewood tote and knob are excellent just a little finish worn off of the knob.
    The sole is flat.
    Cutter and cap iron are superb. I put a fresh edge on the cutter extremely sharp and cuts superb shavings.
    Lever cap was lightly cleaned and polished.
    This is a superb working plane. The plane was very well taking care of your not going to find a much better one to add to your collection or work shop.
