FINE Antique French Coach / Carriage Maker's Plow Plane, RARE !!

Here we have a
FINE Antique French Coach / Carriage Maker's Plow Plane.
There are no maker marks on this plane. These RARE French plow planes were designed primarily for plowing a groove on a curved surface which you have an abundance of in the fancy wooded coaches and carriages back in the late1700's into the very early 1900's.  I'm not sure of the wood but it reminds me of oak or ash.  Given that it was probably made in France it could be some other similar species.  It has a thick iron wear plate and a thick and heavy brass plate that carries the 1/4" wide steel cutting iron and wedge.  The small skate has a curved surface.   The plow body is approx. 7-3/4" long.  Plane still has all of its aged patina !!    These French carriage maker plow
