Side is marked CRAFTSMAN No 3732 with 2 small letters BB underneath 3732, base measures 7" x 2".
This Craftsman 3728 combination plane is really a rebranded Millers Falls no. 47. The earliest Craftsman planes were marked with ‘BB,’ ‘BL,’ or ‘DD,’ which correspond to their manufacturers: Millers Falls, Sargent, and Stanley, respectively.  This block plane was stamped with a ‘BB’ on the plane body, underneath the model number. The MF 47 / Craftsman 3732 plane bears a more than passing resemblance to the popular Stanley 65 knuckle plane.
The iron has 7 horizontal adjustment grooves. The knuckle cap appears virtually identical to the Miller Falls no.47.
