Beautiful Vintage Stanley No.151 Spoke Shave

Description

For sale is a vintage Stanley No. 151 adjustable blade spoke shave measuring 10" long.
Signed "No. 151" on the body and "Stanley Made In USA" on the  2-1/8" wide X 1-3/4" tall
blade iron.
The body has no bends, no cracks, no breaks and is in good overall condition apart from
the japanning is missing in various places (see the pictures). There are various scuffs,
scrapes etc. consistent with this being used in a working environment.
There are no personal markings from previous
owners. I have given it a light cleaning with
superfine steel wool. The blade looks to me as if it has never been sharpened or honed so
I have resisted the temptation to hone and leave it to you to decide how far to go with it.
