    Description

    Listing includes one wooden, block plane/planer from the early 1900s (I'm assuming), maybe older?  The manufacturer, the Ohio Steel Co., was apparently established in 1823, according to the info on the blade, so it could be from the 1800s.  The Block is very sturdy, hand carved out in the center, with an inset handle. There are 2 blades fastened together with a keyhole bolt (see pic).  I haven't taken them apart - I didn't want to fiddle with it too much.  (Sorry, I'm not much of a tool person).  Item measures
    16" long, 3"x2.5" block, 5" from bottom to top of handle.
