    ANTIQUE STANLEY #97 CABINET MAKERS EDGE PLANE, SWEETHEART logo. Very good condition. A few scratches and nicks and a tiny bit of pitting. Original owner had name neatly engraved in small letters on left rear. Blade is in good shape and is sharp, ready to use. Everything works smooth. Has the original rosewood handle. The lever cap looks to be nickel plated. Nice japanning on body. Very nice old plane and quite rare. Looks like it had light use and was well taken care of. Nice plane for the collector or old school fine cabinet maker.
