Antique
JOHN GREEN Set of Tongue & Groove (T & G) Match Molding Planes 3/16"
.
John Green was a plane maker in London, England.  His firm operated from 1754-1808.
You can see from the rivets, that were used to attach the skate of the groove plane, that these are 'old'.
The toes of the planes have the maker's name.
The heels are marked '3' which might refer to the 3/16" wide tongue that would be cut.  The plane bodies are in Good 'used' condition with wear from use. (see pics). The soles and mouths are in very good condition
.
The cutting wedges have some bruising and nicks, and one has a crack, so if your planning to use these it should be replaced.  The cutting irons are in good clean & sharp condition but you may want to touch them up before use.  Planes are approx. 9-1/2" L.  Both planes are stamped by the same owner.
