    Antique John Bell Adjustable Wooden Wedge Plane.
    Another great Antique Wooden Wedge Plane from John Bell, this plane is functional tool with adjustable depth and width adjustments…. See pics for details of movements and condition for this pre-owned antique tool.
    The overall body is approximately 15” and there is a beefy Sheffield/James Cam blade that measures approximately 2 7/8” wide. The blade is used but has great markings and patina, ready to go many more years.
    John Bell was tool maker from the 1820-1850 era of fine wooden wedge planes. His stamp is on one end and the other bears the name MATZ, which is possibly the owner of the tool since I did not find a connection of Bell and MATZ.
