Both are no-mar; will not harm bow or gun finishes.
The 3M sticks all the time.
The non-3M has some aherance issues from time to time.
It's pretty dependable but may not stay put for you 100% of the time.
I've had this 2nd type (the non-3M) on a gunstock for 3 years, and it stays pretty much put, but the end of it tends to curl up off the stock a bit; I just press it back down, & keep on truckin', as it were.
Again, both are safe for all bow and gun finishes
