    Description

    This auction is for a top quality rare 1930's antique Carriage Makers Plane with a custom wooden side handle, marked on the cutter: STANLEY - MADE IN ENGLAND - and marked on the body: No. 10 - This classic specialty plane was previously used to make bamboo fly rods, the original owners name is stamped on the custom handle and the top of the rear handle: S. HEALEY. This plane is fully functional appearing lightly used, well maintained, and overall still in excellent condition. There is a tiny chip in the wood handle on the front lower inside that does not affect its use or performance. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The plane measures 13" by 2 1/16", 5" tall, the custom handle is 11" by 2 1/4", 5/8" thick, and the total weight is 4 lbs.
