This electric wax melter will make your candle/wax melt making operation so much easier. Just load the melter with your wax and turn it on, once heated open the spout and dispense the amount of wax needed. Add your fragrance and pour. It's that easy! No more concerns of overheating your wax. No more water in your wax from the double boiler method!
This wax melter holds 6 quarts of melted wax (approximately 9-11 pounds) so you can keep working and pouring without constantly having to refill the melter.
We recommend heating your wax 5-10º higher than you typically do to account for temperature loss while pouring and measuring wax. Beware of your particular wax's maximum heat tolerance. (ie. soy wax shouldn't be allowed to exceed ~200ºF)
Our melters are made with lead-free brass pour spouts and you can choose from a standard quarter turn tap or a long-handled spout. Our taps are mechanically bolted to your pot and sealed with a high-temp, oil resistant sealant so you can be sure your spout will not come loose or leak.
** Note: Due to packaging and shipping methods from our suppliers, the spouts may have minor scuffs or scraps on the colored handles. Any major defects are rejected and returned to our supplier, however it is nearly impossible to obtain these taps in perfect condition.
